Born in Japan in 1959, fell into magic with his first circus performance at the age of 5. When his brother died in an accident in the second grade of middle school, he decided that he will do magic as nobody knows when one's life will end. At the age of 18, his first show ended successfully with the help of his Korean-Japanese friends.
재일교포로 일본 오사카에 태어나, 마술사를 꿈꾸다. 1959년 일본에서 태어나, 5살 때 첫 서커스 공연을 보고 마술에 빠졌다. 중학교 2학년때 사고로 형이 사망하면서, 사람은 언제 죽을지 모르니, 살면서 꼭 하고 싶은 마술을 하고 살고 싶다고 결심했고, 18살 때 친구들 및 재일교포들의 도움으로 첫 콘서트를 했다.

After marriage, he wore Hanbok and did magic under the name of An Sung U, but no matter how hard he tried, he was rarely accepted in Japanese society at the time, and the worries about his livelihood deepened with the birth of his first son.
아버지 안성우, 마술사 안성우 프로의 길에서 고민하다. 결혼 후 안성우라는 이름으로 한복을 입고 마술을 했지만, 아무리 열심히 해도 당시 일본 사회에서 거의 받아들여지지 않았고, 첫 아들이 태어나면서 생계에 대한 고민은 더욱 깊어져만 갔다.
Winning IBM Hawaii contest and
invitation to North Korea.
At the Hawaii competition where he competed instead of his student, he overwhelmed his prominent competitors at the time and reached the final 6, which was broadcasted and watched from North Korea. At that time, he met Kim Taek-sung, a leading magician in North Korea, and taught magic to his sons.
하와이 IBM 대회 입상, 그리고 북한으로 초청받다. 제자 대신 출전했던 하와이 대회에서 당시 쟁쟁한 경쟁자들을 물리치고 파이널 6에 올랐고, 이것이 방송으로 만들어져 북한에서 보고
섭외가 들어 왔다. 그리고 이때 북한의 대표적인 마술사 김택성을 만나 교류했고,
그 아들들에게 마술을 가르쳤다.
Winning the 1987 SAM Las Vegas Championship and became the magician "Yuji Yasuda."
After winning the U.S. competition, he received many invitations from overseas presenters, but couldn't proceed due to visa issues, so he changed his performing name to Yuji Yasuda at the recommendation of a Japanese agency, and had a lot of performances and events. At that time, he tried harder without being conceited, and he was in his prime as a performer.
87년 SAM 라스베가스 대회 우승 그리고 ,마술사 ‘유지야스다’가 되다. 미국 대회에서
우승 후 많은 해외 섭외가 있었지만, 비자 문제로 진출이 무산되었고, 대신 일본 기획사의
권유로 공연자 명을 유지 야스다로 바꾼 후 엄청나게 많은 공연과 행사를 하게 되었다.
이때 자만하지 않고 더욱 노력했으며, 공연자로 전성기를 맞았다.

94년 요코하마(FISM) 세계마술챔피언십 일루전 3위 입상. 일본 요코하마 피즘에 북한 김택성 선생에게 받은 도구와 자신의 액트를 결합해서 출전했고, 일루전 부문 3위에 입상 했다.

In 2001, he met Jung Sung-mo in the U.S., and he visited Korea as it was meant to be. At this time, he watched Lee Eun-gyeol's performance and felt awkward, but he saw the possibility. It was the day when Incheon Airport began his first flight, and he always remembered his first "Korean snow" at the moment.
한국 마술과의 만남 ‘김해 공항으로 입국, 인천공항으로 출국하다.’ 2001년 미국에서 정성모 마술사를 만났고, 그것이 인연이 되어 한국을 방문했다. 이 때 이은결의 공연을 보았고, 어색했지만 가능성을 느꼈다. 이날 인천 공항이 첫 비행을 시작했던 날이었으며, 당시 한국의 첫 눈이 왔던 것을 늘 기억했다.

Since 2007, Professor Ryu Kyung-hwa and Dongbusan college created Magic Entertainment department, raised numerous students who love and care about magic, and stayed in classrooms and laboratories for most of their work until 2016 when the department disappeared.
동부산대학 매직과 교수가 되어, 후학들을 가르치다. 2007년부터 류경화 교수와 동부산대학 매직엔터테인먼트과를 만들었고, 마술을 사랑하고 아끼는 수많은 제자들을 키웠으며, 2016년 학과가 없어질 때 까지 일과 대부분을 교실과 연구실에 머물며 학생들을 엄격하면서도 자애롭게 가르쳤다.

He joined BIMF, which began in 2006 as judges, performers, and others and has held the MUK International Magic Seminar since 2009. He
worked the hardest on the globalization of Korean magic by participating as a judge of FISM in 2009, the chairman of the organizing committee of FISM ACM in 2014, and the artistic director of FISM WCM in 2018.
부산매직페스티벌, 그리고 세계 속의 유지 야스다. 2006년 시작된 부산국제매직페스티벌의
심사위원, 공연자, 등으로 함께했으며, 2009년부터는 MUK 국제매직세미나를 진행했다. 2009년 FISM의 심사위원, 2014년 FISM ACM 조직위원장, 2018년 부산FISM WCM 예술감독을 수행하며 한국 마술의 세계화에 최전방에서 가장 열심히 노력했다.

민족주의자 안성우. 남과 북을 오가며 마술로 교류하다. 남과 북을 오가며, 마술을 통해서 민족이 하나 될 수 있게 15여년간 노력해왔다. 특히 2007년 이후 2018년 까지 남과 북의 마술사들이 한 무대에 서고, 서로 교류할 수 있게 끊임없이 노력했으며, 마지막 사명이 마술로 하나된 남과 북이라 믿었다.
The Son, the Husband, the Father
and the Grandfather
Born as the son of a Korean-Japanese from Jeju Island, he met his wife at a Korean school and had three sons. He was always grateful that the children grew up and had grandchildren after marriage, were able to go to children's entrance ceremonies before they were small, and was thankful that he could cook for his own family and have time with his wife until his last moment came upon.
아들, 남편, 아버지, 그리고 할아버지 안성우. 제주도 출신 재일 교포의 아들로 태어나, 조선인 학교에서 아내를 만나고, 아들 셋을 가졌다. 그 아이들이 장성해 결혼 후 손녀, 손자를 가지게 되었으며, 작고하기 전 아이들의 입학식에도 갈 수 있었다는 것, 투병을 하며 약 1년간 가족들을 위해 요리하고, 아내와 시간을 수 있었다는 것을 늘 감사하게 생각했다.
